Hair transplant treatment procedure
Before we start the treatment, we will inform you in detail about the hair transplant procedure. For both hair and eyebrow transplants, the patient's own hair at the back of the head is usually used as the donor area, as the hair roots there are undamaged and vital. Using the most modern FUE method (Follicular Unit Extraction), we remove hair follicles (grafts) from the back of the head, which are processed and inserted into the thinning or bald areas using a special hollow needle, where they then grow permanently. A graft can contain 1-4 hair roots. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia, is very gentle on the tissue and is not painful.
What are the side effects?
The technique enables a very precise, gentle procedure and very natural results. Patients are fit for social life again the day after treatment. Nevertheless, minor swelling, itching and redness may occur, but these will disappear after a few days.
What does a hair transplant cost?
The cost of a hair transplant depends on the number of grafts required, i.e. the number of hair roots that are transplanted. The transplantation of one graft (1-4 hair roots) costs SFR 4.50. What results can I expect?
